That is the part I struggle with the most. I’m still learning how to do this, and I haven’t fully mastered it yet.

I would also like to thank you again for sharing your experiences. It truly helps me to cope with this and reminds me that I am not alone.

Thanks Laura! Yes, owning the disease is not easy. I often feel the desire to run and hide. But it is pointless. The disease follows you everywhere. No breaks. No vacations. It’s go time all the time. And it leaves me powerless. But owning it is how we get our power back. Owning it is how we survive and thrive and heal.
