About Jay Armstrong…

Welcome! I’m Jay Armstrong, an award-winning author dedicated to exploring the intersection of life, struggle, and resilience. I’ve written two books—*Bedtime Stories for the Living* and *Ordinary Hero*—that delve into the human experience with a touch of humor and a lot of heart.

In 2013, I was diagnosed with a progressive brain disease, a challenge that has profoundly shaped my perspective on life. Through my writing, I aim to uplift and inspire, crafting insightful (and often amusing) letters that encourage readers to live their best lives despite their struggles.

As a dad, husband, patient advocate, and former high school English teacher, I’m continually learning and growing. I believe in the power of community and the strength we gain from sharing our stories.

Join me on this journey! Subscribe to receive my weekly letters, and together we can discover our ability to overcome challenges and find joy in the everyday. Let’s embrace life’s complexities and unlock our potential to thrive.

Be well,

Jay
